GOOD SAD HAPPY BAD, a brand new alias of Mica Levi and her band project Micachu & The Shapes, are undertaking a three-day residency as part of the playthecube residency series at The Cube Cinema in Bristol next month. The volunteer-run art bunker will play host to a bespoke jumble of specially devised sets, performances and art exhibition developed in-house by Mica and her cohorts Raisa Khan and Marc Pell.

Welcome to night two. Get your SAD rags on for a Saturday night Shape-up, a classic perverse and riotous Cube party featuring a party-primed GOOD SAD HAPPY BAD live set, as well as special guest turns from London’s playful lo-fi shadow-diva Yung Klein and Bristol’s pin-sharp prince of lingustics and frazzled funk licks Chuman. Plus after-hours karaoke, cocktails and the M.A.T.H.S crew tag-teaming on the decks till late…

Qu invited Mica to playthecube and she chose to use it to launch this exciting project, with The Shapes taking new form, and presenting fresh songs/artwork.
