Hen Ogledd

That's Mogic!

More

Hen Ogledd, the band founded by Richard Dawson and harpist Rhodri Davies, with the addition of Dawn Bothwell and Sally Pilkington, release Mogic, their first album for Weird World/Domino, in November, and down they come from 'The Old North' to perform it in this very special weird winter warmer at The Brunswick Club.

Mogic is a discombobulating pop prayer exploring artificial intelligence, witches, nanotechnology, pre-medieval history, robots, romance, computer games and waterfalls...all tumbled together into one of the records of the year, and a strange and alluring live show to boot.

Very special guest support all the way from Santiago, Chile in the form of Glorias Navales, a mythical collective who magically fuse a variety of disparate styles of music making into a unique whole: folk music, trance-inducing repetition, improvisation, and extended techniques (to name only a few).
