Mica is known for their film scores - notably Jonathan Glazer's The Zone of Interest (2023) and Under the Skin (2013) as well as their collaborations with Nan Goldin Memory Lost, Sirens (2019). They recently composed a suite of music for Sinfonietta Krakovia entitled RUBBER SOUL (2024), a sad and sexy string ensemble work, while other recent orchestral works include Thoughts are Born, Slasher and Flag. Their compositions chart personal experience alongside hallucinations, ranging from romantic to scary to abstract. They often incorporate visual or theatrical elements and references to films in their scores. Mica also paints and writes songs.
